Fetch Class -- Teach your dog to willingly pick up whatever you ask for, bring it without chewing on it, and release it to your hand. This class teaches working (not thrown) retrieves - for fun, useful daily help ("bring my slippers," "bring the TV remote"), and the basic skills needed for training obedience competition retrieves.We will work with items of many different textures, materials, and weights/sizes. This class is both for dogs who’ve never retrieved and for those who like to play-retrieve but don’t always bring the ball/stick/toy back. Dogs of all ages, breeds, and mixes are welcome. Dog must be able to focus his/her attention on handler (to a reasonable degree) when near other dogs and people.
Smart Nose ! This is a sniff class and teaches your dog how to use their nose and find things. We will start with cookie/goodie finds and move to other scent training. We will work with a variety of smells and start simple and work to finding objects. It is a fun and useful class that helps give your dog some brain games when weather is inclement or you don't feel like going out. Maybe even find the missing cell phone or lost key chain somewhere in the future or find a hiding adult or child as a game! Great class for bored dogs! Impress your friends and relatives! Any dog can play these games not just scent dogs.So come on down and join the fun! We look forward to meeting you!
Walk With The Trainer! FREE! Summertime only = Check First!!!Join me on the first Saturday of the month for the FREE "Walk with the Trainer" at Huff-N-puff Trail accross from the High School on Shelton Springs Road, just 3 minutes from Wal-Mart in Shelton. Other locations sometimes available too! We will start at 9:00 am and walk for about 45 - 50 minutes. Please bring "Friendly" dogs or alert me to the possibility of problems beforehand. This is a FREE walk. It is your opportunity to socialize, exercise and ask questions or just chat it up with old friends and new friends!

If you miss a class, makeup classes will be available in the next session of the class. Please call ahead to make arrangements. 1 missed class per session for makeup unless otherwise arranged with trainer, 3 months allowed to complete any makeups.
We reserve the right to refuse admission to any person or Dog.
We will evaluate for possible aggression and work with you toward the goal of being able to have your dog in class if there is a problem.
There are no stated or implied guarantees, as the success of your training depends on how much work you do on your own time and how well you follow your trainer's instructions.
