. The new classes are called Levels. That means you can move on with your training or stay put if you need more time instead of waiting for a new class to start. No more waiting, no more missing or losing out on classes.
For Manners and Puppy Classes -- Instead of buying one "class" for 7 weeks you will be buying a set number of classes to be used as you are moving up in the levels, kind of like a "punch card". You will buy 6 classes and have 2 months to use them with no makeups or losing money for a missed class. If you pup ages out of puppy class he will just move up to the Manners level appropriate for him.
Level 1 for pups 10 weeks to 16 weeks and we will specialize in socialization skills as well as some training of commands. Your pup will be introduced to new tactile sensations such as different kinds of footing, new noises, new toys, new dogs and new people. You will learn how to introduce your new pup to all the scary things in his world as well as teach him some basic commands. You can move up to a new level as needed. Each set will be 4 weeks but you can start anytime - no waiting.
Level 1 Puppy class will consist of: Handling exercises (examining the pup)
Training new behaviors (Sit, Down, come, touch, puppy pushups, stand, walk on lead, wait etc),
Playtime with size and age appropriate pups, limited to 2 or 3 at a time together.
Learning about new surfaces,
People socialization skills, and
Learn to be quiet.
Work on no jumping, bite inhibition (no biting or mouthing),

No aggressive dogs allowed in class. Vaccines are required !!! Most classes will be 6 - 8 pups. Bring proof of payment to first class to obtain Punch card
You may move into Level 2 for no additonal charge if you have punches left! Or buy more classes and use them to move into other classes when pup ages out of Puppy Class!
Puppy Level 2 ($99 if you used all your punches otherwise no fee) This is Phase 2 of the new Levels puppy class. Your pup needs to be between 10 and 16 weeks old. Each class will be ongoing with a 4 week cycle. You move to level 2 when you are ready as long as your pup is not over the age limit. No more makeups or lost money! Tuition covers 6 classes to be used in 8 weeks. These classes stress lots of socialization while teaching beginning commands. Each level you move up will cover more training.

All classes will focus on the skills in each level. No more missed classes or lost money. Tuition covers 6 classes to be used in 8 weeks. You will move to the next level when you are ready without waiting. Level one will concentrate on the Basic skill your dog needs for good manners.
Level 1 will be the very basic skills and learn to work around other dogs, He will learn and respond to his name and pay attention when he hears it,

Learn to greet people and dogs with no jumping
We will also teach you (the human) about body handling and health issues and what a clicker is and how to use it.
When you have mastered those you can move on to the other levels and learn "off or leave it, Go to your mat or bed, Sit/Stay, Down/Stay, and continue to practice level one (in level 2), then on to the next level to learn heeling, solid stays, Stand for exam or grooming, Greeting politely, and beginning obedience style moves (these are cool and add pizzazz - fun to show off to relatives and friends!)
After that you can move on to any of our other classes such as Rally, Agility, Tricks, Fetch class or competition if you so desire.
Manners Level 2 ($99 if you used all your punches otherwise no fee) Level two will concentrate on the Basic skills your dog needs to become a great companion. In level 2 we will continue to work on learned behaviors from other classes and also teach the dog to:
·Come from a distance,
·Off or Leave it,
·Sit - Stay (more distractions),
·Down-Stay with more distractions,
·On your Mat or Bed,
·Touch with paw or nose,
·more no-pull leash practice and greeting politely.
Pre-requisites: Graduates of any of the previous classes.
This is an intermediate obedience class for those thinking about competing.
Please inform the trainer if you are planning to compete as some things are taught differently.
Teach handler skills while working on dog skills, and learn the ins and outs of competing.

This is an Obedience competition prep class.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be no refunds after the start of first class.

If you present a bad check there will be a $35.00 fee for recovery.
If you miss a class, makeup classes will be available in the next session of the class. Please call ahead to make arrangements. 1 missed class per session for makeup unless otherwise arranged with trainer, 3 months allowed to complete any makeups.
We reserve the right to refuse admission to any person or Dog.
We will evaluate for possible aggression and work with you toward the goal of being able to have your dog in class if there is a problem.
